Seattle Symphony Concertmaster before Noah Geller with The Seattle Series

Information

The Series

The Seattle Series is a chamber-festival-meets-recital series, featuring ad hoc combinations of awe-inspiring artists who perform together for one evening to create a magical moment in time.  Outstanding Seattle-based artists are given the opportunity to invite their colleagues from around the nation and globe to join them for a unique collaboration, unavailable elsewhere.

The series was inspired by the hidden gem of world-class classical musicians right on Seattle’s doorstep and the lack of access to their featured performances.  Audience members will witness passion, beauty, skill, energy—all exhibited in spades—for an inspiring, life-affirming experience.

The Venue

The second season of The Seattle Series will take place in the Grand Ballroom, Women’s University Club, Seattle, located on 6th Avenue at the corner of Spring Street.  Valet parking will be available for purchase at the venue’s 6th Avenue entrance, and self-parking is available in nearby parking garages.

This unique, National Registry of Historic Places venue has been purposely chosen to highlight one of Seattle’s few remaining Colonial Revival structures while providing guests with access to bars and social spaces unavailable at many performance locations.  You will find yourself in an adorned room that nonetheless creates an intimate space to hear and witness first-class, live performances.

The venue is accessible, with a ramped mezzanine entrance through its garage (located adjacent to and north of the building on 6th Ave.). A nearby elevator provides access to the performance space below and the main floor above.
